Salmen High School Spartan Regiment Band 

The Salmen High School Spartan Regiment Band is looking for 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students who are interested in learning to play an instrument so they can join the band next school year. The instruments that we will be providing lessons for are Flute, Clarinet, Alto Saxophone, Trumpet, Mellophone, and Trombone. The lessons will be held after school on Mondays in one of two time slots, 2:45-3:45 or 3:45-4:45. If this is you, please visit the Salmen High Band tab of the Programs/Activities section on the school website where there will be a link to a Google form that you will need to fill out by October 8th. After we receive all of the forms we will reach out with more information. 

Salmen High teams up together with Northshore High as Team Combustion 1912. This year, they were recognized at the Bayou Regionals competition and are moving on to Worlds, which is held in Houston, TX on April 17th, 2024.

Yearbook Announcements

• The 2024-25 Salmen Laconian Yearbooks have arrived and are ready for pickup.
• If a student would like to designate someone else to pick up their book, they must email Theresa.Seruntine2@stpsb.org to give that name and permission.
   
• Graduated Seniors: 
  • Your books are in the main office and are available for pickup Monday-Friday (as long as it is a day that students report to school) from 8am-2pm.
     
• Students still attending Salmen:
• You can pick up your book in room 101 during your lunch beginning Monday, September 9, 2025 or after the dismissal bell until 3pm starting immediately.
   

If you did not preorder last year's book and now would like to purchase the 24-25 Salmen Laconian Yearbook, please email Theresa.Seruntine2@stpsb.org for pricing and availability. This is not done on Jostens.com, only current books in production may be ordered on Jostens.com.
