Applicant and/or his/her parents/guardian MUST be a current member of the Salmen High PTSA. Copy of 2020-21 membership card MUST be attached to application. (*The PTSA will NOT furnish you with a copy, you MUST keep track of your membership cards).
An applicant must have participated in at least one school related activity (club/sports, etc.).
An applicant must submit a Salmen High School PTSA Scholarship Application that includes an essay (typed or neatly written).
Two *teacher evaluation forms (*Must be from a CURRENT Salmen full-time teacher that taught you an academic subject. Substitute teachers are NOT allowed to complete the evaluations)
A copy of your official high school transcripts (get from your counselor)
The Slidell Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. announces its 2021 Scholarship Awards Program. The purpose is to provide financial assistance to African American graduating high school seniors within St. Tammany Parish and participants in our Deta GEMS program.
Each year, the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation awards 150 college scholarships worth $20,000 to high school students across the United States through the Coca-Cola Scholars Program. Students need a 3.0 GPA and to fill out an online application that requires no essays, no recommendations, and no transcripts by October 31, 2020 at 5 p.m. Eastern.
Professional Athletes Foundation Student Scholarship
The PAF Student Scholarship is designed for high school athletes with intentions to attend a 2-year or 4-year college or university. The scholarship rewards high school
athletes for their non-athletic achievements and assist them in achieving their academic career goals.
Overall High School Grade Point Average of 2.0 or better
Must be a high school senior
Acceptance into a two-year or four-year college or university
Nominated by high school coach
Participated at the varsity level in athletics for at least one year
Is not the son or daughter of current or former NFL Player
All GPAs will be considered for the Nikhil Desai "Perspective" Scholarship. While not required, students who are first-generation Americans or who will be first-generation college students are preferred.:
