Registration

How do I register my child at Salmen?

For registration information, visit our registration page here.

How do I enroll my child in virtual school?

There is no need to call Salmen to uneroll your child. Simply visit the page here to start the process of enrollment for virtual school.

Can I unenroll from the virtual school and re-enroll at Salmen?

Yes. Please contact Salmen at 985-643-7359 to ask about enrolling your child.

Student Accounts and Passwords

What does my child use as a login for their student account?

All students use their student id number for their username and their password is something they should know. If they have forgotten their password, see below.

How do I change my child's password?

Please go to the identity website by clicking here and then clicking Forgot Username/Password to change your child's password.

I tried to change my child's password and it still does not work...and/or my child does not remember the answers to their challenge questions.

In this case, please email Charity LeBlanc for assistance.

My child can login to Moodle but is unable to login to Google Classroom. They get an error that says "invalid email".

It is possible that your child's account for Google Classroom has not been created yet. Please be patient as this is a tedious process and the district is working as quickly as possible to get them to students. Continue to try and login every so often and the accoutn will eventually work. If you still have problems, please email the IT helpdesk at helpdesk@stpsb.org.

How do I sign into the Student Progress Center to check my child's grades?

A PIN number and login information was sent the address we have on file. If you never received this information, contact the front office by calling 985-643-7359.

How do I sign into My Payments Plus?

Go to the My Payments Plus website and sign in with the account your created. If you never registered for this site, click Register Now to get started.

Google Chromebooks and Google Classroom

When will my child receive their Chromebook?

Students must have turned in their Chromebook forms. You can download them here. If you choose to pay for insurance, you can do so on My Payments Plus. Once the forms are returned, the school will work as quickly as possible to issue the Chromebook.

My child is unable to login to their Chromebook.

Please see the Chromebook Instructions on how to login to the Chromebook. If your child has simply forgotten their password, please refer to Student Passwords and Accounts to change it.

My child can login to Google Classroom, but they only see certain classes, or they see no classes.

You can email your child’s teacher(s) for their Google Classroom codes. To find a teacher’s email, login to the Student Progress Center where you can also check your child’s grades. Under GRADES, you’ll see your child’s schedule and you can click on the teacher’s names to email them.
