The Salmen Cheerleaders competed this year in the National High School Cheerleading Competition at Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Fl. They were amazing and finished as National Champion runner-up. Scoring was modified this year by changing the final score to reflect percentages of all your performances. This is the first, and only time, this has been done. Without this change, we would have won finals by 2 pts. They were amazing in finals on Sunday scoring a 96.7 out of a 100. The highest nationals score in Salmen cheer history. We are so proud of all these athletes and how they represented Salmen High School, St. Tammany Parish, and the city of Slidell.
