STETS is a program that engages students from 9-12 grade to pursue researching a career of choice for life.  This program engages students to pursue further education or training after high school.  It helps them bring high school grades up to level so that they can achieve a high ACT score that will enable them to choose the postsecondary program of their choice.  Members of STETS meet regularly with Mr. Alix Banks, UNO Adviser, to participate in an array of activities that are motivating and create a higher self-esteem.  The students learn to work in teams to improve problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.  The teacher liaison at Salmen is Mrs. Lisa Semere.
