FBLA is the largest and oldest business
student organization in the world! A quarter of a million high
school and middle school students, college and university
students, faculty, educators, administrators, and business
professionals have chosen to be members of the premier business
education association preparing students for careers in
business.
Salmen’s FBLA chapter is one of the most
active organizations on campus. They attend weekly club
meetings; participate in fundraisers and community service
projects; attend leadership conferences; and organize school
activities to show our school pride. Join today to prepare for
your future and have a lot of fun at the same time!!
Lisa Semere and Cindy Kemp have sponsored
the Salmen FBLA chapter since 2002. Under their leadership,
students have hosted a district conference; run for state
office, attended three national and leadership conferences; and
competed at district and state conferences annually.
Serving as president is 4 year member,
Brittany Frank; vice president is Kentrel Smith; secretary is
Victor Arroyo; treasurer is Rosland Jackson; parliamentarian is
Andrew Tadros; reporter is Andrew Gray; and historian is
Destinie Greenfield. “We have an experienced officer team this
year,” says Lisa Semere. “They bring a wealth of leadership
skills and energy to the table.” More than 60 students are
expected to become a member this year, guaranteeing to make club
history.
